Cruises can depart from any water accessible point along the Florida Atlantic coast and Intra Coastal Waterway from Fort Pierce, south to Miami. Our resident chef will prepare food fresh for your event and our experienced crew will ensure that your event runs smoothly.

Made in Chelsea, filmed on Mariner III
In the heat of August, the producers of the popular British reality series Made in Chelsea chartered Mariner III to film part of the season finale of Made in Chelsea New York.
We welcomed a production crew and cast of around 70 people. Filming took place on the Hudson with the Freedom Tower as backdrop during the afternoon. As dusk fell we moved south for some sequences in front of the Statue of Liberty, finally filming the night sequences near the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River.
The boat had been rigged with Made in Chelsea’s trademark fairy lights. Once night had fallen, these gave the boat a beautiful glow that looks great in the finished show.

Birthday Party in Greenwich, CT
Mariner III is pictured leaving the dock for a birthday cruise. The party was already in full swing and our photographer reports that it could be heard clearly from the dock!
Our client invited a boat full of friends and family to celebrate her fiftieth birthday. Her verdict on returning much later that night? “I had such a good time” she said with a big smile.

During the Fall and Winter months, Mariner III is based at the West Palm Beach Yacht Club on Flagler Drive. The yacht club is easily accessible from downtown West Palm Beach and from Palm Beach. Or Mariner III can come to you if you have a dock with Intracoast Waterway access.
Mariner III can accomodate up to 95 guests. We offer high quality, fresh food prepared by our resident chef on the day. There is a choice of menus from full sit down dinner to buffet snacks. We have a bar on the covered rear deck and offer a choice of services from juice and sodas through to premium bar service. Live band or DJ? No problem, and there’s plenty of room to dance.

The New York Party Boat
Mariner III is the essential New York party boat. Whether it’s a birthday party, anniversary party, launch party or thank you party, Mariner III has the experience and the setting for the perfect event.
The first event held on Mariner III’s after it was certified as a charter vessel was a birthday party for actress Brooke Shields. Since then we have held countless parties for celebrities, families, churches, businesses and pretty much every other body you can think of.
At a party, people want to relax, chat and enjoy the food and drink. We understand this and believe the Mariner III has all the ingredients to be the perfect New York party boat.
The Boat
Mariner III has a large, open top deck which can be covered if rain (or too much sun) is likely. There is a covered rear deck with bar and an internal salon with comfy seating. Guests are welcome to roam from one area to another for a range of different moods.
Catering
Our chef prepares the party food fresh on the day. There’s no reheating, our food is fresh and wholesome. We can serve anything from buffet snacks to a multiple course, sit down dinner. The choice is yours. We will work with you (or your event planner) to deliver the finest food, suitable for your event.
Drinks are essential at a party and we can offer you a full range of drink services. From juices and sodas only, through to a full premium bar service with cocktails, liquor, wine and beer. The choice is yours.
Entertainment
We can happily accomodate a DJ or a small live band.
Setting
Most parties choose to cruise around Manhattan on the Hudson and East Rivers to enjoy the skyline and the famous sights. We can also cruise around the harbour and the Statute of Liberty or incorporate any other landmarks you want
Departure
Mariner III is based at Chelsea Piers on the Hudson River (23rd Street) and many parties depart from this point. Access to Chelsea Piers from Downtown and Midtown is easy. We can also come to you if you have the use of a pier in New Jersey, Brooklyn, Long Island and points as far north as The Hamptons.

The Manhattan Skyline
Mariner III is frequently chartered for use as a photo-shoot or film making location. The boat itself functions as a stylish set. We can also position the boat to create the backdrop that you want. Fashion shoots and movie sequences have been shot using the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop.
Recently the boat was used to shoot an episode of a reality series. The director asked for the boat to be positioned so that the Freedom Tower and downtown would appear in shot. It was a beautiful day and the skyline was looking great.
Captain Sean Kennedy and his crew have many years of experience hosting photo shoots for clients like Tommy Hilfiger and Victoria’s Secret.

40th Birthday Party
Last night Mariner III hosted a 40th birthday party. The boat cruised around the southern tip of Manhattan and into the East River whilst our guests enjoyed a sit down dinner. It was a fine night and the Manhattan skyline looked amazing!
We had 50 people on board with a DJ on the back deck. The party rocked all night with our guests reluctant to leave even after the boat docked at Chelsea Piers.

Lunch cruise with Stephen Colbert
Mariner III welcomed onboard Stephen Colbert and his production crew for a fun afternoon cruising the Hudson River in New York.
It was a beautiful day on river. We served Stephen and his crew lunch and drinks as we cruised from Chelsea Piers.

Accommodation
The large space on the upper deck can be covered or open, clear for mingling and dancing or set with tables for a meal. The covered aft deck will accomodate a more intimate meal or can be open for music and dancing. The bar is on this deck.
Catering
Our chef and wait staff are ready to serve you. Mariner III is licensed for up 95 guests and we can provide either a formal meal or buffet style party food for all of them. A bar on the aft deck serves a range of drinks.
Staff
The boat is under the command of Captain Sean Kennedy who has over 30 years experience at sea. The boat will be fully crewed for your event with maritime crew, chef and wait staff to ensure your enjoyment and safety

From the summer base at Chelsea Piers on the East River side of Manhattan. Mariner III can cruise around Manhattan, along the coast and along Long Island Sound. We can host your party from any water accessible point in the New Jersey, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island and New England areas. Cruises to see the lights of Manhattan and around the iconic Statue of Liberty are always popular.
In the winter Mariner III is based at Palm Beach Yacht Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. This location offers access to cruises along the beautiful Florida Intracoastal Waterway, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Jupiter and Fort Pierce. Mariner III regularly cruises along the Atlantic coast, to the Bahamas and the Virgin Islands.

Mariner III has two seasonal locations. During the winter months the boat is based at the Palm Beach Yacht Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. During the summer months Mariner III is docked at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan. This is an easy to access location at 23rd Street and the West Side Highway and is the starting point for our popular cruises around New York City. We can also attend any water-accessible location in the New Jersey, Long Island and the New England area. Cruise from Liberty Landing, Greenwich CT, Norwalk CT, Stamford CT, Old Saybrook CT, Newport RI and Sag Harbor NY.

During the summer months, Mariner III is based at Chelsea Piers on the Hudson River. From there we can attend events anywhere in the New England or New York area where there is pier access. Some events commence at Chelsea Piers which has easy access for Manhattan.
In the winter, Mariner III is based at the Palm Beach Yacht Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. From there the Mariner III can attend events along the Atlantic Coast down to Miami.
The Mariner III was built in 1926 and retains it’s original Gatsby era elegance. It’s glistening white hull and varnished teak cabins exude a historic quality that modern yachts cannot match. However this elegance is intensely practical. Mariner III can accommodate and cater for 90 guests. The upper deck, the rear deck and the salon all offer a different atmosphere and allow different groupings to feel at home. There is plenty of room for musicians and DJs.
